A certificate training course in modern Langstroth beekeeping is available at our Beekeeping Training School. Both practical and theory courses in hive management, wax and honey processing, harvesting methods, honey extraction, beeswax foundation making, hive building and honey marketing.

REGISTRATION, Training and Equipment costs

  • TRAINING FOR 2023/2024 PERIOD WILL BE BEGIN LAST WEEK IN OCTOBER OR FIRST WEEK IN NOVEMBER. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR MORE DETAILS, THANK YOU.
  • 500.00 PER PERSON TO BE PAID TO VIYADA ENTERPRISE BEFORE CLASSES BEGIN.
  • ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUPPLY THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT. SUITS, VEILS, HATS, BOOTS AND GLOVES ARE AVAILABLE ON SITE. PRICES ARE GIVEN BELOW.
  • BRING A FLASH LIGHT
  • CLASS PARTICULARS ARE RELEASED AT THE BEGINNING OF NOVEMBER

ACCOMMODATION:

  • ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO FIND THEIR OWN FOOD AND BOARD.

RETURN JOURNEY:

  • METRO MASS, STC AND TRO-TRO  LEAVE NKWANTA EVERY DAY/EVENING FOR HOHOE AND ACCRA.

START-UP KIT-

  • 885.00 GHC, Includes: Smoker (foreign), hat, veil, double lined suit, gloves, boots, hive tool, and beeswax for baiting new hives. (some of these items are optional)

BEEHIVES –

  • 300.00 GHC: One box with frames , lid and bottom board.
